A 44.4 km loop with no climbing, suitable for riders of any level wanting distance without gradient.
A flat 44.4 km loop through Dubai's western suburbs, from Al Thanyah and The Springs out to Al Barsha South and back via Emirates Hills.
The loop sets out through Al Thanyah 2 and reaches its high point of just 77 m at 1.3 km, which is as much elevation as the route ever offers. By 5.2 km it passes The Springs and Al Thanyah 4, where a cluster of cafés and restaurants around the 3.7 km mark makes an easy early stop. The road then works south-east past Jumeirah Village Circle and Al Barsha South 4 at 11.7 km and Al Barsha South 5 at 13.2 km. The middle section is the quietest stretch for services: nothing is listed between 3.7 km and 30.6 km, by which point the route has swung back through Al Thanyah 5 at 24.7 km and dropped to its low point of 66 m. Restaurants at 30.6 km and a second cluster at 35.1 km give a natural break. From there the loop runs past Emirates Hills at 36.5 km, then Al Thanyah 3 and Al Thanyah 1 before finishing near Al Sufouh 2 at 43.3 km, where a further run of cafés and restaurants sits within the final kilometre. Total recorded elevation gain is 0 m, so the profile is effectively flat throughout, with 57% of what little gain there is in the first half.
