Suits riders of any level looking for a long but flat 63.7 km loop with almost no climbing.
A flat 63.7 km loop through Dubai's suburbs, from Al Thanyah out past The Springs and Emirates Hills to Dubai Marina and back along Jumeirah.
The loop starts among the Al Thanyah suburbs, passing Al Thanyah 3 at 1.4 km and Al Thanyah 2 at 2.4 km, with cafés and restaurants clustered in the first kilometre. The outward leg runs inland through a string of residential districts, reaching The Springs and Al Thanyah 4 at around 17 km and Emirates Hills at 18.1 km, where a further group of cafés sits close to the road. Beyond Al Thanyah 5 at 27.9 km the route swings towards the coast, with a viewpoint at 28.5 km and Dubai Marina at 28.9 km. The high point of the whole ride, all of 8 m, comes at 31.3 km, and drinking water is marked at 31.5 km. The lowest point, 2 m below sea level, follows at 34.9 km around Al Sufouh 2. From Al Sufouh 1 at 36.5 km the return threads through Umm Suqeim 3, Umm Suqeim, Umm Suqeim 1, Al Safa and the Jumeirah districts, then Umm Suqeim 2 at 53.9 km and Umm Al Sheif at 57.2 km before closing the loop. Total climbing is just 55 m, 64% of it in the first half, so the profile is effectively flat throughout.
