A moderate half-day ride at 48.9 km and 785 m, within reach of most riders comfortable with repeated climbs of around 6%.
An out-and-back from Port de Pollença along the Formentor peninsula to the Cap de Formentor lighthouse: 48.9 km and 785 m of climbing.
The ride leaves Port de Pollença along the flat shore, dropping to sea level at 3.7 km, and passes a dense run of restaurants and cafés between 3.3 km and 5.1 km. That is the last of the facilities on the route, so anything needed for the peninsula should be picked up here. The climbing starts at 6.6 km with the main ascent of the day: 3.3 km at 5.8%, with a maximum of 7.8%, topping out at 194 m. From there the road onto the Formentor peninsula never settles. A gentler 1.8 km rise at 2.7% follows from 13.2 km, then 2 km at 4.5% from 16.8 km to 174 m, and a short, sharper 0.9 km at 5.2% from 23.5 km that touches 9.2%. The high point of 210 m comes at 26.5 km, out towards the lighthouse at the tip of the cape. The return retraces the same road, so the descents become climbs: the sting is a 3.4 km ascent at 5.8% from 33.6 km, reaching 199 m. Port de Pollença is regained at 42.1 km, with a flat run back in. Just over half the total climbing, 57%, falls in the first half.
